Commissions Considered

Norva enjoys waterways from north to south. Her first water-skiing experience was on Lake Providence. Great times were spent on her grandparent's 80 acre farm along Ouchita River. Graduating from C.E. Byrd High and Commercial College, Norva frequented Cross Lake & Caddo Lake located in the vicinity. Summertimes included bodies of water across Minnesota & Canada. It was natural to return to Louisiana's tropical climate. In order to capture Louisiana scenes on canvas, Norva's easel is set up on the top deck of her husband's houseboat between the cypress trees of Lake Dauterive. She now enjoys painting backyard scenes along Bayou Teche. Originals and prints are available on this website!
